It's Thanksgiving!
As we’re giving thanks to God on this bountiful life he has provided for us, and chowing down like these fine Clifton’s Cafeteria patrons, I just wanted to pause and say a heartfelt thank YOU to all who follow this blog. Your support and readership is appreciated!
It all started a little over 6 months ago with the desire to share my mother’s story of her young single life: her faith, temptations, fiercely independent sassy side, and not to mention her time working at the historic Clifton’s Cafeteria as a Camera Girl. Of course all told through her own writing, along with hundreds of her vintage pictures.
It's been such a joy to share these diaries with all of you, and it's been wonderful connecting with old and new friends. I'm grateful to have you along for the journey to the past!
